My love for extensions was born after owning my first HaloCouture 20″ Halo 5 years ago. The color was perfect. The quality is unmatched. How easy it was for me to wear it daily just blew my mind! I had been putting in clip ins for far too long and the commitment of getting them just right, making sure they stayed in, and then my head hurting after a long day of wear, was just too much.
HaloCouture is my first passion when it comes to an easy option that allows us to keep our hair at a length where it looks full and healthy but then we can also have longer or fuller hair when we want to!
Lets first talk about the vast color options. Not only do they offer 23 options of Solid colors as well as Highlighted/Lowlighted combinations, but they just started providing 7 “rooted” or Balayaged options! These Balayage Halos have changed the game when it comes to keeping a hairpiece for a long time. Now you don’t need to worry about it matching when you add more depth to your color in the fall and go lighter in the summer!
To care for these beautiful hair pieces, I always say less is more. The Halos hold curl incredibly well so there is no need to use excessive heat. When you wash the Halo you will definitely need to blowdry them with a brush! The only two products I will use is the Aquage Dry Shampoo or Kevin Murphy DoOver for hold OR an Oil to rehydrate the hair. Otherwise, I say shampoo and condition the hair as needed, which for some people is once every few weeks or once every few months!
To put these HaloCouture Extensions in your hair is just a few easy steps.
HOW TO APPLY YOUR HALO
First, you section off the crown of your hair from an inch behind the hairline all the way around just below the occipital bone.
Next, you hold the Halo on either end and start by putting the Halo on from the Back to the Front.
Then, as you pull the Halo wire towards the front of your head then place it at the beginning of your part.
Once the Halo is on the head then take your tail comb that is included in your box and comb your hair down and around the wire.
Finally, use a brush to brush your hair into the Halo and if needed you can pick up a few pieces to retouch and curl.
HOW TO INQUIRE
- Submit pictures of the front, back, and sides of your hair in Natural Lighting to halo@jesshallock.com
- Decide if you would like a Balayaged option or if you want an Un-Balayaged option. Keep in mind a Balayaged option is $80-$100 more than an Un-Balayaged option.
- Decide if you would like an Original Halo (100-130g of hair & unlayered) which comes in 12″, 16″, 20″, & 24″. This is a great option if you are just looking for more fullness or just a little bit of length or if you have very fine hair.
- Decide if you would like a Layered Halo (120-150g of hair & prelayered) which comes in 14″, 18″, & 22″. This is the most ideal for thick haired clients (or if you have “fine hair but a lot of it”) and if you are trying to get the most length you can.
- Once we receive this information then I will be in contact with you personally to go over options in color and length!
- When we decide on the perfect Halo for you then I can move on to customizing it the way we discussed and get it shipped out to you!
