HaloCouture

Styling Tips

  • Start with curling your own hair by simply making a “bend” rather than an actual curl.
  • The only place your will do a full curl when trying to blend your hair with the halo, is when curling your very front sections.
  • *PRO TIP* Take the wire off of the halo so you are able to fully stretch out the weft when you clamp it to your hanger.
  • Halo curls will always curl away from your face so remember to have the clamp facing the “outside” of the halo depending on which side you are curling.
  • Pick up an inch wide section and with the iron in a vertical position, clamp the hair, and turn the iron away from the outside and curl towards the middle.
  • *PRO TIP* Remember to over direct with your handle to give the curls more “height” and last longer
  • When pulling the iron out of the curl, loosens the clamp so it can glide out and “smooth” the ends of the curl so they are almost straight
  • Once you have your halo all curled, pop in a few curls (no more than 4-5 are needed) in the top layer of the halo. This will give your halo a fuller look and prevent the halo from falling into one big curl
  • Lightly mist the halo with the HALOCOUTURE Spritz Spray and let the halo cool completely (the longer the better)
  • Using the Detangler brush, hold the top of the weft and gently brush out the curls.
  • Put your wire back on the halo and remember to place the wire through the loop and hook it to a notch with the hook pointing down
