HaloCouture

The HaloCouture Ponytail

Have you ever cut your hair, spent two weeks loving it and before you know it you’re heavily regretting your decision? I hear you, girl. In fact, this year I chopped my hair off and shortly after, missed my long, voluminous ponytail. The thing with short hair is it often takes away your ability to throw your hair up quickly in the morning without spending time trying to restyle your super trendy cut.

Now don’t get me wrong, I love a trendy bob, but my lifestyle often requires the ability to wake up and go (without looking like I just rolled out of bed). So since my hair isn’t going to grow 10 inches overnight, I have found the perfect solution that I can’t wait to share with you guys!

As I’m sure you know if you’re reading this, I’m obsessed with HaloCouture extensions. It’s been a game changer for me and so many of my clients. I love them because they’re easy, affordable and can be customized to ensure that it blends perfectly. Believe it or not, HaloCouture also makes a ponytail. I know, your life just changed as you know it.

The ponytail is amazing and has literally saved me during this Arizona Summer. It’s versatile for any hair type, super easy to use and obviously affordable. Just like the halo extensions, the ponytail is completely customizable. Although it comes in a standard 16 inch length, depending on your style, I can layer it, cut and color it in order to blend best with your hair. They even have balayaged blends! If you’re wondering whether or not this would be doable for you, check out this quick 8-step guide on how to apply it:

  1. Pull your hair back in a standard hair tie preferably just above the bend of your head (the occipital).
  2. Pick up your ponytail extension and hold it in front of you with the Clip facing away from you and your thumbs on the hair side.
  3. Bring it directly above your head and over the Ponytail you just pulled back of your own hair.
  4. Secure the clip into the back of your head and kind of into the ponytail.
  5. Then make sure the ponytail piece is as close to perpendicular as you can.
  6. Take the extra long hair piece which will be on your right side, and wrap underneath the ponytail , pulling to the left.
  7. Continue to wrap the hairpiece around the ponytail until you can secure the remainder of the piece with a Bobby pin.
  8. Now fluff out the pony with your fingers or with a brush and you are finished! Ta-Da!

I mean, how easy is that? This one piece will allow you to do a high ponytail, low ponytail, bubble braid, top bun, side bun or any other trendy braid you see on Pinterest. It’s the perfect addition to your daily routine and I can’t recommend it enough!
